bigbrella was created in Sydney, by parents who realised there was a gap in the wet weather market. It seemed impossible to find an umbrella that could do it all:

• Large enough to cover our children and their backpacks on the way to school
• Enable us to stay dry while juggling multiple grocery bags on a rainy day
• Provide proper coverage for watching weekend sport in the elements

Not to mention, a monochromatic colour palette to complement our personal style.

With all of those points in mind, the bigbrella was born.
